Step 1: Background Check
Becoming a volunteer at Highland Park is easy, although there are a few required steps before you are eligible. To keep all of our students safe, the Beaverton School District requires all volunteers pass a background check. The background check is easy to do and free. Please be aware that it takes about 2 weeks to fully process. Once you have been approved you will receive an email with a link to available opportunities. Step 2: Volunteer!
We are so thankful for the willingness of our parents and other community members to volunteer in our schools. Unfortunately, during Comprehensive Distance Learning, we are not allowing in-person volunteering inside our buildings. However, there are still ways to support our teachers, staff and students.
